Discovery of human remains leads to man’s arrest
Police arrested a 24-year-old man from Bristol for murder after discovering human remains in luggage near the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Armed officers from Avon and Somerset took him into custody at Meads Station in Bristol early on Saturday morning.
Police found two men dead in a flat and luggage in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.
“This is a significant development,” Andy Valentine, the deputy assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Department, said.
A call was made to the Avon and Somerset Police Department regarding the occurrence.
The guy escaped without the bags despite the authorities arriving within ten minutes.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the recovery of human remains at an apartment on Scott’s Road in west London.
Early on Saturday morning, armed police detained and took into custody the man at Bristol’s Temple Meads station.
“This is a significant development in our investigation and I would like to thank the public for their support,” Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine stated.
