Tragic attack claims life of dog-walking woman.
A passerby found woman on the track near the railway and a sewage works around 06:25 BST on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, 57-year-old Anita Rose was discovered unconscious on a track in Brantham, Suffolk. She passed away on Sunday morning in Cambridge’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Police re-arrested a man from Ipswich on suspicion of murder after previously arresting him on the same charge.
At 06:25 on Wednesday, a passerby found Ms. Rose on the track between the railway line and a sewage works. The village, which sits on the River Stour beside the estuary and separates Essex and Suffolk, is a quaint area. She had likely departed from her home at approximately 5:00 in the morning to go on a walk with her springer spaniel, Bruce. Ambulance personnel subsequently contacted the police at the track off Rectory Lane just after 8:00 in the morning.
The Martlesham Heath Investigation Centre was questioning a re-arrested male, 45 years old.
Suspicion of dealing in stolen items led to the Saturday arrest of a 37-year-old woman, according to Suffolk Police.
The police announced that they had found and retrieved Ms. Rose’s missing mobile phone.
She was still without her signature pink jacket.
According to him, people have been going door-to-door in search of clues, and he wants anyone with footage from security cameras or doorbell cameras to come forward.
Having a long-term partner, Ms. Rose was a mother of six, grandmother to thirteen, and the subject of a family statement released through the police.
“She was brutally taken from us devastatingly too early, and we have been robbed of so much time with her.”We are pleading with anyone who knows anything to come forward.
“We would like to express our gratitude to all of you for the love and support you have shown us. All we ask is that you enjoy the time you have with your loved ones.”
